Hosted by Downtown Santa Monica, Inc. (DTSM, Inc.), Pride on the Promenade makes its return on Saturday, June 22, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. This lively festival spans across Third Street Promenade and celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community and promotes inclusivity and acceptance in Santa Monica. All ages are welcome to enjoy musical performances, Pride-themed treats, free swag,  informational booths, games and much more.

Families can also venture to Santa Monica Place, where they can explore the kid-friendly Pride programming and activities exclusively at the Kid Zone, offering an educational and entertaining space for children to play and learn about inclusivity and acceptance. Plus, don’t miss the family-friendly live musical entertainment by LGBTQIA+ performers in the Center Plaza.

PRIDE Sunset Swim is for the LGBTQ+ community and allies! Enjoy a queer, safe, accessible, judgment-free space for every, and all bodies, with fabulous pool floats and sweet and salty snacks, at the historic Beach House pool. Pre-purchase PRIDE Sunset Swim pool passes by clicking here, or purchase at the door on Friday, June 21, per availability. Outside food welcome, no glass, no alcohol. PRIDE Happy Hour is back from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Back on the Beach Café, located at the Beach House. 

Drag Bingo in Santa Monica

Not your grandma’s bingo (but we’d love her to come)!  Join the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence at Solidarity in Santa Monica for Drag Bingo!  Win one of ten $100 gift cards playing bingo while supporting the Trans Equity Scholarship fund. In partnership with the LA LGBT Center’s Trans Economic Empowerment Project, the fund provides $500 scholarships to help cover many of the fees required when making one’s name and gender change official in California. In partnership with The Crow Comedy Club, on June 15, the Santa Monica Pier Corp. and The Crow will host Fierce Fables: Drag Queen Pride for All Ages! Bring the youngest members of the family to enjoy a drag queen and king storytelling corner at The Carousel, face painting, and show stopping dance numbers by Pickle Drag Queen, Pandora Boxx and Johnny Gentleman from 10AM - 1 PM. This event is FREE and fabulous, complete with a pride parade for all to partake in!

In addition to the vibrant festivities of Fierce Fables: Drag Queen Pride of All Ages, there will also be Pride Poetry on the Pier for All Ages, featuring the City of Santa Monica's inaugural Poet Laureate, Anne Carmack.
